Create and manage email distribution groups for your teams

What Are Groups?

Groups are email distribution lists that allow multiple people to receive emails sent to a single address. They're perfect for:

By Location

store1024@company.com for all staff at a specific store

By Department

drivers@company.com for all delivery drivers

By Role

managers@company.com for all management staff

Creating a Group

  1. Navigate to Groups

    Go to Groups in the sidebar

  2. Click "Create Group"

    You'll see the Create Group form

  3. Enter Group Details

    Group Name: A descriptive name (e.g., "Store #1024 - Downtown")

    Email Alias: Auto-generated from the name, but you can customize it (e.g., "store1024")

  4. Add Members

    Search and select staff members to add to the group

  5. Configure Whitelist

    Decide who can send emails to this group (covered below)

  6. Save

    The group is now active and ready to use

Understanding Whitelist

The whitelist controls who can send emails to this group. This prevents unauthorized external emails from reaching all group members.

All Members (Default)

Only group members can email the group. Best for team collaboration.

Specific Senders

Only designated people outside the group can email it. Good for functional addresses.
